Raising awareness in several municipalities

The CMEICI, in collaboration with the Direction générale de la prévention des incendies of the Ministère des Affaires municipales, worked to raise awareness among industry decision-makers of the real impact of automatic sprinkler systems on protecting lives and property. This led several municipalities, such as Côte-Saint-Luc, Westmount, Saint-Eustache, Saint-Antoine, etc., to legislate mandatory automatic sprinkler systems in residential buildings on their territory.
