Trades revision by CCQ

In 2015, the CCQ started consulting process and revision on trades jurisdiction with the goal to change trades definitions. Today, this process is continuing.  The phase 3 of the consulting process is going on.  In 2016 the CCQ administrative board will take decision based on staff recommandation.
Many industry players exercice a lobby to reduce the number of trades. There are supported by the general contractors.
This is question of specialized contractors expertise and the work area that will be likely exclusive or share.
We have something to say and we have to be implicated. Who other than us know the daily job? It is the economy of construction industry that will be touch by this process.
The corporation with the collaboration of FQAESC (Federation Quebecoise d’Entrepreneurs Specialises en Construction) are implicated in this process to insure that the result will be fair.
